Experimental Finance Summer School

The Cluster of Excellence EconTribute: Markets and Policy and the Society for Experimental Finance (SEF) would like to invite you to the Experimental Finance Summer School 2023 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The goal of the summer school is to deepen students’ understanding and knowledge of the field of experimental finance. Students are also invited to attend the Experimental Finance Conference from June 20-22.

While all students are welcome, the summer school targets the following groups:

• Young scholars from finance/economics departments who belong to a non-experimental group at their University, but are interested in research in Experimental Finance.

• Young scholars from finance/economics departments that are embedded in an experimental group but want to improve their experimental skills and get a systematic overview over some of the main fields.

• Priority will be given to applicants who have not yet completed their PhDs.

Important Dates:

• Submission deadline for applications: 15 March

• Notification of acceptance: mid-April

On both days, the summer school will take place from around 9:00 am till late afternoon.

Fees:

The fee for participating in the summer school is 50 €. For summer school participants who also register for the Experimental Finance Conference, the participation fee for the summer school is waived.
