EF2020, University of Innsbruck

We are sorry to inform you that due to the Covid-19 situation, we have to cancel this year's Experimental Finance Conference and postpone it to June 16-18 2021 in Innsbruck. However, we are very happy that all of our keynotes, i.e. Annamaria Lusardi and Stefan Nagel, and guest speakers, i.e. Michael Kirchler and Roberto Weber, have agreed to give their talks at the conference next year. We hope to welcome you in Innsbruck in 2021!

The University of Innsbruck’s Department of Banking and Finance and the Society for Experimental Finance (SEF) would like to invite you to the conference Experimental Finance 2020 to be held in Innsbruck from June 10-12, 2020. The conference also serves as the 11th annual meeting of the Society for Experimental Finance.

Keynote speakers

Annamaria Lusardi (George Washington University School of Business)

Stefan Nagel (University of Chicago Booth School of Business)

In addition, two Talks with a View will be given by:

We invite you to submit full papers or extended abstracts (with a minimum of 1000 words) using experimental methods covering all areas of finance (broadly defined). Please only submit when you have already collected data.

Presentations will be given either in plenary sessions or in parallel sessions. Submissions will be peer-reviewed by two anonymous referees.

If you are a junior scientist, we also invite you to apply for the Vernon L. Smith Young Talent Award in Experimental Finance for the best conference paper. This prize is awarded by SEF and Chapman University and amounts to 8000 USD. For details please refer to Awards.
